VISION STATEMENT

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
TO THE BUILDING OF GOD'S KINGDOM AS TAUGHT BY HIS SON, JESUS

OUR CONGREGATION IS TO BE IN CONSTANT PRAYER FOR THOSE IN NEED AND FOR GUIDANCE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

TO HAVE A CHURCH THAT IS KNOWN FOR ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED AND SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST. TO INFLUENCE AS MANY PEOPLE ACROSS THE GLOBE BY WAYS AND MEANS THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE FOR US AND NOT BE LIMITED BY OUR PERSONAL ABILITIES

STATEMENT OF FAITH.

WE BELIEVE THE FOLLOWING AND STRUCTURE BOTH OUR PERSONAL LIVES AND CHURCH MINISTRIES AROUND THE FOLLOWING:

* The Scriptures are inspired by God and declares His design and plan for mankind. *There is only One True God–revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (commonly known as the Trinity). *Jesus saves according to John 3:16, baptizes with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, heals bodily according to James 5:15 and is coming again to receive those who are saved according to 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. *In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. . As God's son Jesus was both human and divine. *Every Person Can Restore Fellowship With God Through Salvation. (Trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, as our personal saviour.)*We practice these three ordinances -(1) Water Baptism by full Immersion after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation (2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation (3) The Washing of the Saints feet, as demonstration of humility. (John 13:14). *Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a Special Experience and empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in the early New Testament times. *Sanctification Occurs at Salvation and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually drawing closer to God and become more Christ-like. *The Church has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church' is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son. *A Divinely Called and Scriptural Ordained Leadership Ministry Serves the Church. The Bible teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, to build up or edify the body of believers–the Church and to Meet human need with ministries of love and compassion. *Divine Healing of the Sick is a Privilege for Christians Today and is provided for in Christ's atonement and by the stripes he suffered. *The speaking in tongues and that it may be a sign that a Christian has been filled with the Holy Spirit and should be practiced when there be an interpreter as stated in 1 Corinthians 14. *A Final Judgment Will Take Place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal separation from God. *We Look forward to the perfect New Heaven and New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever. *Based on the account in Acts 19:11–12, we may anoint and pray over "prayer cloths" which can be placed near an afflicted body part and are believed to carry the prayers and divine healing to the ill person. *Prayer for the sick is an important practice in the church. This is done by anointing with oil and the pastor and all volunteering members praying for the sick in body or sick in spirit. *God provides church with, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, miracles, gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. (1 Corinthians 12:28) *Marriage is between one man and one woman, as designed by God. (Genesis 3:20) *The church building should be kept sacred to events and ceremonies and cannot be used for any event that is in conflict with the holy scriptures. (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Deuteronomy 7:26, Deuteronomy 22:5, II Kings 22:24, Revelation 21:27)
